The YMCA After School Program gives working parents peace of mind by providing supervised care for their children by a professional staff team. The Afterschool Program practices the 4 core values: caring, honesty, respect and responsibility in all of our activities indoor/outdoor, homework time, arts and crafts, games, and much more. A healthy snack is provided. This program is licensed through the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
Head Start: Children must be between the ages of 3-5, potty trained and be enrolled in a Head Start program.
School Age: Children must be between the ages of 5-12 years old and enrolled in elementary school to be accepted into the program.
The YMCA ASP serves all SAISD head start and elementary schools with on-site care.

Accounts are billed weekly with payments due on the Friday before care.
The After School Program begins at school dismissal and continues until 6:00 pm Monday - Friday during the district school year.
When students are out of school for breaks, a day camp will be offered on days the Y is open, for an additional fee. Check the Day Camp page for more information about full day camps.
On days the students are released early from school the program will begin at the early release time.
It is the YMCA policy that no one be turned away due to an inability to pay. If you feel you might qualify for financial assistance, please complete the application and provide the two most recent pay stubs for adult wage earners in the home, or the past years tax documents.
